Dehradun: Shri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Uttarakhand, organized a Free Health Camp on Sunday at 58, DL Road, Dehradun, with the objective of promoting community welfare and preventive healthcare. Around 120 people registered and underwent health check-ups while receiving expert medical consultations from specialist doctors. The camp also focused on creating awareness about the importance of regular health screening and adopting a healthy lifestyle.
The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by comprehensive health screening services. Free tests for blood sugar (glucose) and blood pressure (BP), along with other routine health examinations, were conducted. Doctors carefully examined patients, provided medical advice, and distributed free medicines to those in need. In addition, free spectacles were provided to people suffering from vision-related problems, benefiting many attendees.
The medical team included Dr. J.P. Joshi (General Physician), Dr. O.P. Gupta (Ophthalmologist), Dr. Rohit Agrawal (Dental Specialist), and Dr. Mahesh Agrawal (Pediatrician), who offered their services voluntarily. The doctors encouraged people to undergo regular health check-ups, maintain a balanced and nutritious diet, follow good hygiene practices, and ensure early screening for lifestyle diseases such as diabetes and hypertension.
At the conclusion of the camp, Colonel Yogendra Singh, State President of Shri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Uttarakhand, expressed gratitude to all the doctors, volunteers, and supporters for making the event a success. He said that the organisation is committed to extending quality healthcare services to every section of society, especially the economically weaker and underprivileged communities. He further stated that the organisation would continue to organize free health camps in different areas to provide accessible healthcare services to those in need.

Khali, Sajjan Singh Thapa, Neeraj Kumar Thapa, Shyam Kumar Thapa, Aarti Thapa, Tara Gurung, Samarth Chhetri, Narmaya Rai, Shalini Swaroop, Meera Rai, Anjali Verma, Kusum Sharma, Sapna Thapa, Meera Chhetri, Manju Thapa, Sudha Pun, Babita Gupta, Manorama, Ranjan Semwal, along with a large number of local residents and volunteers. Local citizens appreciated the initiative, describing the camp as a meaningful contribution towards improving community health and public welfare.
