Dehradun: The devastating natural disaster and floods in Tibet and Nepal, which have resulted in loss of lives and widespread destruction, have deeply saddened people across the region. In this difficult and painful hour, the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation Uttarakhand has expressed profound grief and conveyed its heartfelt condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones. The organisation has also expressed its deepest sympathy and solidarity with those affected and injured, assuring them of all possible support.
The severe disaster that struck Nepal on Wednesday morning has affected several districts, including Rasuwa, Dhading, Nuwakot, Chitwan and Eastern Nawalparasi. Thousands of people have been impacted by the tragedy, while many families are facing extremely difficult circumstances. In view of the possibility of the situation affecting the bordering areas of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, the organisation has called for heightened vigilance, preparedness and readiness for relief and service activities.
The Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation Uttarakhand said that in times of grief and crisis, service to humanity is the highest form of service.
